“The breadth of test requirements necessitate coming up with innovative ways of using the technology of today to develop the technology of tomorrow.”

Brian Edwards is a systems engineer for national security. His primary work is in the test and evaluation of R&D systems. Brian and his teammates create surrogate capabilities to mimic military systems in test environments, but at much lower cost.

Typically, that means building up self-sufficient systems to include power, communications, data processing and storage, all in harsh desert locations.
