Leidos submitted, and won, entries into two of the nine award categories. The company won in the Industry to Industry Collaboration category while Senior Contracts Officer Lois Love received the Emerging Collaborative Leader award.
The industry collaboration honour recognized the smooth completion of folding Lockheed Martin’s IS&GS business into Leidos following the 2016 merger. ICW said the need for “effective collaboration was imperative to making the full transition to Leidos a success.” ICW also lauded Leidos for ensuring that Collaborative Business Relationship Management principles underpinned all aspects of the transition.
Lois Love’s award recognised the role she plays in both embracing and encouraging collaboration. She’s an important individual contributor, mentor and leader within Leidos who consistently provides support and guidance across the business sectors in relation to collaborative working practices. Her focus and open-mindedness provides a fine example of how tomorrow's collaboration leaders should seek to engage.
